CONTEST - PYROGLYPH LOGO DESIGN

My sister, , asked me to host a contest for her to design a logo image for her new site, Pyroglyph.org.

Contest: Design a logo inspired by the phrase pyroglyph, a play on the word hieroglyph:

_{Of, relating to, or being a system of writing, such as that of ancient Egypt, in which pictorial symbols are used to represent meaning or sounds or a combination of meaning and sound.}

Lorien will select her favorite entry at the end of the contest, which will receive the prize.

Deadline: October 20th.

Rules:

To submit an entry, please send me a note with the title "Contest Entry" along with a link to your entry.
You may also post a link in this journal for others to see.

You may submit as many entries as you like.

The idea is for the logo image to be inspired by the phrase pyroglyph, but if you have other ideas that you think would fit well, please feel free to submit them.
Pyro means fire, while a glyph is a symbol that imparts information nonverbally.


Prize: One of Lorien's woodburned and hand painted keepsake/jewelry boxes, featuring the Four Elements, which has a removable divided tray, and comes with a key.
